The event was part of the Blissful Mawlid series organized by the Directorate General of Islamic Community Guidance (Bimas Islam) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag).

The Directorate General of Islamic Community Guidance (Ditjen Bimas Islam) of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs held a mass wedding event themed “Love in the Divine’s Blessing” as part of the Peaceful Muharram series at Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, on Saturday, June 28, 2025. A total of 100 couples from the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek) were officially married in this event, serving as a tangible form of state service in facilitating lawful, legal, and blessed marriages.
